Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: Here with team MI6. I want to start off with the eagle on 3. 6, take me through that eagle.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, it was a really good shot. It was the second shot, MJ hit the ball really good. But my shot was a little bit strong, so after I was upset, but it got in.

Q. MJ, we have to talk about this tree shot here. What was going through your mind and how surprised were you to see it hit the green the way it did?

MI JUNG HUR: Fortunately I can see the flag, and there is a way to the green which is I can hook it, but I was worried about my 7-iron. It's going to be breaking or my hand is going to hurt.

But it was very important shot for us, so I just ignore my hand or the club, so I just hit it.

Q. How is the 7-iron doing now?

MI JUNG HUR: Just a little bit of scratch on the shaft, but it's fine.

Q. As we came up, MI6, you got to hear your music coming up. How much more fun did that give to your day today?

MI JUNG HUR: It's unusual tournament for us, so it was really exciting to play with the song, especially with the spectators on the 18th green, and they cheer us up. It was great.

Q. 6, going back to that tree shot, that recovery shot, what was going through your mind when you saw what MJ was able to do by the tree?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, that was amazing shot. I said, "thank you."

Q. Going into tomorrow, 6, what is the mindset as you head into tomorrow in contention?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, instead of a goal I want to make some good memories with MJ.

Yeah, of course I hope I play well, but I don't want focus too much on the end result.

Q. MJ, what are your thoughts as we head into this final round tomorrow?

MI JUNG HUR: I think a little different between her, but we were trying to enjoy today as alternate shot. But tomorrow is four-ball, which is we play on our ball, so I'm trying to making a lot of birdies.

Q. How proud -- I know today was not easy for a lot of groups out there with the wind swirling. How proud are you of the effort that the two of you were able to put up in this alternate shot format?

MI JUNG HUR: The wind made us more pressure every shot, and even the putter. Like if you hit it too much, the next player has to finish up about a yard or two yards putt. It was so much pressure.
