THE MODERATOR: Here with Team Hot John's Girls, Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Emma Talley. First question: How much fun did you have today doing the walk-up, making fun of Hot John, all that kind of stuff? It seemed like a great day for you guys.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: We always have a great day out there. We played some really good golf. We missed a couple of putts, but overall I think we were both really confident going into tomorrow. So our games are in really good position, so yeah.
THE MODERATOR: I've been asking a couple of players, in the foursomes format just how good is just being par sometimes?
EMMA TALLEY: Yeah, that's kind of what our goal is. Just the mentality of par is good.
I think we took that to the next level. We had a lot of good opportunities and just couldn't get a putt to fall, but our games were really good today.
I think this was the best day. We both played really well, and I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
THE MODERATOR: You guys definitely had the best four-ball score of the week so far. How much confidence does that give you going into tomorrow, being in the chase, getting to play four-ball again?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, I think we played really well. Our games are very similar, so I think we're always giving ourselves opportunities, which is really key in four-ball.
I think just playing aggressive. I think that suits both of us. Hopefully we can have another day like yesterday and make a run for it.
THE MODERATOR: In what ways are your games similar?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: We're both really good ball-streakers, and I've been putting really well this week. So, yeah, I think we really suit each other.
I think it's good. For me I putt kind of more tentatively than Emma does, so I think I have a birdie putt, and Emma is already in for par.
That's what really helped yesterday is I was putting more aggressively. It really helped. So I have to think about the par putt coming back, so yeah.
THE MODERATOR: What was the environment like out there today getting to hear your walk-up song walking down?
EMMA TALLEY: The whole goal was to embarrass Jodi's caddie, John. I think we did that, so our goal of the day was complete.
I think he was a bit embarrassed. We'll keep embarrassing him. Hot John's Girls all the way.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you, ladies.
