Chanettee Wannasaen

Quick Quotes

THE MODERATOR: Here with Chanettee after her second round today. Talk about how you and Jaravee played out there today.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Definitely today on the front nine, we played really good with Jaravee, but we cannot make a birdie. But on the back nine, me and Jaravee played a little bit better, and we can make a lot of birdies.

Today is also bogey-free.

Q. That's super helpful. How do you feel like you both bounced off of each other today? Do you think she had some good shots that helped energize you a little bit maybe?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I think she made three birdies and no bogeys. But I had bogeys, so she helped me a lot. Also on hole No. 10 on the second shot, I hit on the left of the green, and I got a bogey, but she got a par. So she helped me a lot.

Q. It's nice to have someone to help you there a little bit sometimes. Just talk about how excited you are for the weekend, especially being tied for the lead right now.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: So it's my first time playing the weekend here, so I'm excited. I think Jaravee is also excited because it's her first time, too, playing on the weekend.

We're going to play the same plan and help each other tomorrow because tomorrow is alternate shot. I think we can play better than today and better than on the first round.

Q. How excited are you to hear the walk-up song when you come down 18?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I don't know about that. That song is very popular in Thailand, but I don't think Americans can understand. But I think the music -- hope the fans enjoy it.
