Q. So you're 4-under par in the first round of the Evian Championship. It's a good start, would you agree?
LINN GRANT: Yeah, I mean, if I got told that I was going to shoot minus 4 today I would be happy with that. There is always a lot of chances to make a better score.
But I'm happy, so...
Q. Yeah. So how do you make your birdies? Like any spectacular shots or any -- your best shots?
LINN GRANT: I did I hit it close on 11. It was just a tap-in birdie. That was a nice start.
Otherwise just solid wedges, solid irons. I think I hit like 17 fairways and 16 greens, so very solid from tee to green. I missed a couple short putts, but that's golf I guess.
Q. Everybody seems to be like doing well that started on the 9th hole. Is there any reason? Or 10th, sorry.
LINN GRANT: I can't. No idea. No, I have no idea. Maybe the wind or something.
Q. Yeah.
LINN GRANT: I'm not sure. I know the wind when we were on 16 it kind of turned a little bit, so maybe there was a tougher wind in the morning.
Q. Overall were the conditions were very like perfect?
LINN GRANT: I think so. When we were here in May the greens were so firm, so when I got here in the beginning of the week it was just like, this is perfect.
Like you can actually hit it on the green and make -- like get it to stop.
Q. Yes.
LINN GRANT: So I just think that for me, I'm happy that I played because now I feel the golf course is easier, which is actually pretty nice.
Q. It's very nice.
LINN GRANT: Yeah.
Q. Do you feel like you love playing in this heat or...
LINN GRANT: I am struggling a bit, but it's all right. It is warm for sure, and I feel more bad Pontus actually just having to carry the bag. We're all right. We're doing fine.
Q. You're a good team.
LINN GRANT: Yeah.
