Q. That was a good round today.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, yeah, it was good. Yeah, steady. Missed -- well, three-putt from like four feet on my second hole for birdie, which is a bit annoying because it was obviously an easy birdie chance but I let it slip away.
I hit some close shots on the front nine; I just played steady on the back nine.
Q. How difficult were conditions out there?
CHARLEY HULL: They were playing pretty scorable so it's nice. Good. The weather is pretty good, so, yeah, no excuses.
Q. Nelly thought the pin positions were trickier today than yesterday; would you agree with that? The one on 1 looked pretty horrendous to me.
CHARLEY HULL: No, 1 was all right. I think the one on 16 was pretty tricky. I think it was almost on a slope that way. Like the pin doesn't sit in the flag pot.
Yeah, I think they switched pin positions up a bit. But, no, it was good, a good test.
Q. Where do you see yourself now? Think you're placed well enough?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, yeah.
Q. Confident of that?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, yeah, good. Have really had a look at the scores too much.
Q. It's 11-under.
CHARLEY HULL: 11-under, yeah. So that's not far back at all. Only four shots. I thought I had my eagle putt on the last. It lipped out. It was a really good putt. Surprised it didn't drop in.
Q. How far would you say it was?
CHARLEY HULL: Don't know. Was it like eight feet was it? Yeah.
Q. Yeah, it did. It just took a bit of a...
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I thought it was going to drop in but it didn't. But yeah.
Q. That would've helped. Overall, you are happy with your position?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, yeah, happy.
Q. Ready to make a move on Saturday?
CHARLEY HULL: Exactly. Yeah, ready for that.
Q. Are you playing the whole European swing?
CHARLEY HULL: What is it, this week --
Q. This week, the Scottish next week...
CHARLEY HULL: I'm not playing Irish. Yeah, I'm going on holiday the week after.
Q. But here, Scottish and AIG. You like playing back in Europe, back at home?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah. I wish I could play more. I miss it.
Q. You just feel you're on course to go at that first major?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, feel good. Don't really think about it too much. Just one day at a time.
Q. Play some golf.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, mostly thinking about what I'm going to eat now.
Q. What are you going to eat?
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know whether to go for the baguette or the Bolognese with salad. Maybe the salad and the Bolognese.
