Q. Definitely now you have some money, so top 10 in a major championship. How good was that to be in contention once again?
JIN YOUNG KO: Well, yeah, I wasn't hitting like so many great shots on today and I missed lots of chance for birdies, maybe over ten. It could be win.
But it's major and I needed more luck, and I did all my best all week. Yeah, I can't wait to play next year. And also, yeah, we have lots of fans here, so I want to say thank you to all the fans.
Q. How do you stay patient when the putts aren't dropping and you know you need to make some of them?
JIN YOUNG KO: Well, I was angry. I really wanted to cry, but lots of fans out there so I couldn't cry.
I am professional so I have to -- I had to best shot of the -- I had two great shots last hole, so I tried to best.
And, yeah, I play with Sei Young and she plays really well on the front nine. I thought she could win, but she has nervous on the back nine, so it's hard pains, but it's major, so, yeah.
Q. You said you worked with your coach a lot and you practiced a lot ahead of this week. Did you see any of that pay off this week?
JIN YOUNG KO: Of course. I think I shot the green I think over 17 today, so it's paid off already.
I'm happy to see my drive, my irons hits far and straight and I can make fade or draw. So was easy, but putting wasn't good.
Q. Playing with Sei Young today, did that give both of you some comfort having a familiar face and fellow countrywoman in the same group?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yes. I'm always happy to playing with her. We had before to prepare to win at the CME 2020. Well, we had a lot of chance to playing with, and, yeah. That's it.
Q. How is your confidence level? We have one more major. Playing Scottish next week, but how excited are you for the next two weeks?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah, I love to visit to London, U.K. I love to eat sausage roll, and I can't wait to eat. My caddie take me to the bakery, so it will be great chance to eat like real sausage roll in the U.K. so I can't wait.
