Q. The atmosphere down here is fantastic. French winner on French soil. Here with Franck Riboud, the chairman, Valerie Baudson, who is the CEO of Amundi.
Valerie, please do the honors to our champion, Celine Boutier.
VALERIE BAUDSON: Thank you. Congratulations. We're so proud of you.
CELINE BOUTIER: Thank you so much. (Applause.)
Q. Celine I'm going to steal you for a couple questions here. Tell me about how you were able to stay so calm and composed out there with all the pressure of a nation on your shoulders.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, it definitely was not easy, but the conditions were so tough I felt like it could go either way really fast, so I just tried to stay focused on each shot and hole at time. It was pretty challenging with the wind.
Q. How important was the start for you?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, that was pretty unexpected. I definitely felt like I handled the first few holes really well. I had a good opportunity on 1 and the putt on 2 was definitely a bonus.
Q. Can you put this into context, what this means to you, winning on home soil?
CELINE BOUTIER: It honestly has been my biggest dream ever since I started watching golf. This tournament has always been very special to me, just even watching as a teenager. To be able to hold this trophy is pretty unbelievable.
Q. You had your family here watching you. They don't get to watch you very often. What did that mean to have them right here with you?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah that made it even better. I feel like they definitely helped me this week to stay grounded and keep my mind off of golf off the golf course.
I feel like it's definitely really sweet to be able to share it with them, and I definitely wouldn't be here without them.
Q. You said that you learned earlier this year you don't need to play your best golf to win out here. You were good enough get it done. Was this your best golf this week?
CELINE BOUTIER: I mean, I feel like golf you can always play better. I definitely feel like I was very steady all four rounds, which is very positive. Especially with tougher conditions I'm definitely very satisfied with my level and with my game this week.
Q. This is a steppingstone for you potentially with some big events coming up, major championship and Solheim Cup. How excited are you for the rest of the year?
CELINE BOUTIER: Oh, I think nothing else matter now that I have this trophy, so I'm really good for the rest of the year.
Q. Well done. You're a legend in these parts now with what you did today. Celine Boutier, the champion here in Evian.
