Q. Patty, 63 today. Talk about what was going through your head during your round today.
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I just kept it really light and played really aggressive. Today I feel like I played really, really aggressive today, which is risk and reward, but I was feeling really comfortable with my game ever since the start of the week, so I just felt like there was nothing to lose.
Q. Any holes this particular you felt like I took advantage of out there today?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Mean, cherry on top on 18 today was pretty nice after missing a couple putts. But I just told myself to keep staying in there and just keep trusting my stroke and my read.
It went in at the right time.
Q. You moved up quite a bit on the leaderboard today. How proud are you of yourself?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Very proud. Very proud. I feel like I've always liked chasing but I never really get a chance to do a proper chasing so far, but today I'm really proud of myself and I had a lot of fun.
Q. And regardless of what happens today, still a solid finish in a major championship. What does this give you moving forward?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: A lot of positives to take away for sure. I feel like, I don't know, at the beginning of the week I didn't even think about winning or anything.
I just felt really good about my game. I really trusted my process and I enjoyed ever bit of it, even the not-so-good ones.
