Q. Here with Lauren Coughlin. I know not the ending that you wanted, but you played such good golf this week. Evaluate your week as a whole.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, obviously disappointing to finish how I did. I held the lead of a major for almost 15 holes today, so I can't really -- or at least until hole 15. So, no, I can be very happy about it.
Again, a little disappointed just how I ended up finishing, but very happy.
Q. What does this tell you about where your game is, where you're at, where you belong out here on the LPGA Tour?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I mean, obviously can only help me and only give me -- help give me confidence to take the next step and get my first win.
Q. Looking ahead, how do you build on this going forward? A lot of big things coming up and a lot of big events.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I'm excited to get home for a few days and then I'm excited to get to Canada. I mean, I can't wait obviously for the Old Course and the British, and then hopefully Solheim.
Q. Finally, I know we joked at Chevron, John, get a permanent spot. I mean, the second major, how is that going? What does it mean to share this moment with him?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: No, I mean, obviously it's very special to get to share it, but he was just filling in this week.
Q. We're all rooting for it.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: No, I know, I know. I know that's what everybody wants. But it's just more just -- I don't like everything being all about my golf all the time, and there is no break sometimes. Even when it's good, you're obviously really great. But when it's bad it's just not fun, and I just don't want to put that stress on our personal relationship for my career gain.
It's just not worth it to me. And so fill-ins here and there obviously can work really, really well and for a few weeks at a time, but I don't know if it'll ever be anything full time. You never know.
Q. Even if it's not, this is really special for you.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Of course.
Q. What does it mean to be able to do this with him?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Again, extremely special and it's memories that we're going to have forever. Again, he's my favorite person, and it's -- there is not really anybody else that I would like to have that kind of memory with.
