Q. Welcome to the ISPS Honda World Invitational. What's it like to be a part of a historical event, the first tri-sanctioned LPGA, European Tour and LET event in the northern hemisphere, to compete with men on the same courses and for the same prize money? What's it like?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Well, it's been awesome. I mean, it's cool that women and men play together in the same course, and then with a great course here and then with a great weather here, as well.
Q. Great weather?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: For now. (Laughing.)
Q. Your first time here in Northern Ireland; what did you expect and how much different is it maybe than your expectations?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: I mean, if you say about the result, I just go out there and do my best. I don't expect that I'm going to be top 10, top 5 or anything like that. It's just a learning experience, I guess.
Q. You had a great finish at the Evian Championship last week in a major environment. How did that help propel you for this event and for the rest of the year?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Yeah, I mean, I played really good for the last couple weeks, not just like Evian. But I think it's made me like have more confidence to go to every event. It was good to be in contention. I think I will keep the momentum going for this week and every week.
Q. Was there anything you learned from competing in a major championship specifically that will help you?
ATTHAYA THITIKUL: Yeah, of course. Last week was my first time in a major as a pro, and definitely a big learning experience there, like just being top 5 for the first time, and it's so amazing, but there's a lot of things I have to learn with it because I just made like a lot of short putts.
