Q. Five birdies today at Nos. 1 and 3, 8, 10 and 14, and you said you were upset with your three-putt on the last hole. Let's start with the good and the birdies. Any one of those in particular help you get the day started and find a groove?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: No, I mean, I put a really good roll on a lot of putts today. Made a couple longer ones in the beginning and then turned on even and then I made a good birdie on 1 and I felt that that was really the momentum and gave me another one on No. 3. Hit it on the green there in two, as well. It was good, and I thought that it could be a really good day.
Q. Were you able to get a practice round in on both courses?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yes, I played 18 holes on both courses.
Q. Which one did you like better or which one did you think was a little more favorable?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I would say this course, Galgorm, is a very -- it's a good challenging course. It requires some good shots for sure, especially off the tee. I like this course a lot. The other one is great, too, but prefer this one.
Q. Is Massereene scorable?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I'm sure it is.
Q. How did the rain impact today?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I mean, it was a little rainy this morning, especially during the warmup and the first couple of holes, but it wasn't terrible. It was just a little mist, so you didn't get super wet. I'm glad we didn't get more rain than what we did. I thought we actually was going to get more than what we did today.
Obviously you just have to stay dry and focus on one thing at a time, and that's the only thing you can do, play a little bit more margins and go from there.
Q. What did you do with the off week last week?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I was back home in Sweden, went from Dow to Sweden and then it was a week in Sweden spending time with family, friends and with my coach, practicing and getting ready for this one.
Q. Anything you did in particular practicing with coach, and who is your coach?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: My coach is Lars Hägglund. He's in Sweden like 30 minutes from where I live. We worked a little bit on all parts of the game, a lot of putting, just making sure read and speed and things like that, and then a little small setup things in my irons and driver.
Q. Is this event a different type of fun with the men in a group behind you and ahead of you and just different faces that you don't normally see?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, I mean, obviously it's a very different event with so many players and both men's and ladies. I think it's fun to see new faces and new players. Obviously you play with a guy -- even if you don't play with the guys, it's fun to see how they play the course.
Q. Did you see how they played it at all today?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I mean, you can look back a little bit and in front and see where they are and where we are at and things like that, and when you're standing on a tee box and waiting and they're hitting a second shot and you know you teed off from the same tee, it's like, okay, I think we can go anyways. It's just a little different and fun.
