Q. Calum, 4-under here at Galgorm. Great way to start the tournament.
CALUM FYFE: Yeah, it was fantastic. Played some really good stuff out there. Could have been better, but also when I was in trouble I done really well to get back out of it, so I had a good round overall.
Q. How important has the run you made been after a tricky start to the season and momentum here?
CALUM FYFE: Massive, because I've been playing really well. Even when I was missing the cuts I feel like my game was good. Just it's golf and it was just the bad breaks. A few silly mistakes at the wrong time. I've been learning and learning and getting better.
I feel way more ready now than I did at the start of the season. Yeah, it's all lessons. Learning from them and getting better, so...
Q. And third on the EuroPro last year. How have you found the transition?
CALUM FYFE: Yeah, it's a big change actually. I thought at the start maybe it was just the same, but it's more the travel and getting used do everything, the whole thing, because it's the life outside the golf course as well that's the hardest part.
Starting to get used to it now, so hopefully can kick on.
Q. Doing pretty well this week. How much is there a sense of opportunity there?
CALUM FYFE: Yeah, definitely, massive opportunity. I've been really looking forward to it when I found out I was getting it in. Yeah, worked hard and played well today, so hopefully I can keep it going.
Q. How was the golf course today?
CALUM FYFE: It was lovely, really nice. Greens are beautiful. Fairways, perfect, and the rough is really thick so penal, so you got end it in the right position. It's perfect.
Q. What worked for you today?
CALUM FYFE: Pretty much everything was very solid. There was not much that was like spectacular, but I was holing some good putts that I've been just missing recently. That was the main thing, holing a few more putts.
