Q. All right, Georgia Hall, definitely some highlights out there today. Just first off, I want to start off with the big one, the ace on No. 3. Just take me through what happened there on that hole.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I mean, we were like slightly in between clubs, but I kind of felt I couldn't hit a 9-iron, and ended up half a yardage; I hit a really good shot. Hit -- I couldn't really see it, but I think it pitched a few yards short, spun, and then rolled in nicely.
Yeah, it was really good. Kind of got my round going a little bit because I was a little bit slow at that point, so obviously it's always good to get a hole in one.
Q. You talked about that kind of jump starting your round. How much does something like that pick the momentum back up?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I was playing pretty well and got two bogeys, and then couple holes after I got the hole in one to set start my momentum again. I was playing pretty well. Just had to stay patient.
I'm happy we played both courses now and we can focus on Galgorm for the weekend.
Q. That ace, you definitely had quite a group following you. I know you were with one of the hometown girls. Did you hear the applause? Did you see the ball go in?
GEORGIA HALL: I actually didn't. I turned to give my caddie the club, and I thought it was a good shot and they were clapping, and then they all like jumped up in the air and cheered. We knew it went in at that point.
But, yeah, we all kind of had high fives and a really good group we were playing with. Yeah, happy about that.
Q. Just your overall thoughts about playing here at Massareene, overall thoughts of the first two days of play?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, this round today was really one I just wanted to kind of get away with a half decent score. This can be secretly quite tough, so I'm very happy to kind of get that day over with and play Galgorm for the weekend.
I think I should have got a few more birdies to be honest, but it was a steady day.
Q. What do you think about Galgorm that really suits your game the best?
GEORGIA HALL: I think par-5s are very reachable for me, and you can get some really evil chances as well, even a couple in a round if you're lucky.
I just prefer maybe the layout a little bit more at Galgorm. Greens are tricky as well, so I think that suits me. I think there is a lot of good players playing well right now, so see what happens on the weekend.
Q. What will you have to do this weekend to continuously see your name up there? You had quite a strong finish at this event last year. What will it take to see it there again?
GEORGIA HALL: I really think just my short game, putting. I'm hitting the ball really well. I think I just need to have a few more putts drop on the weekend, so I'll go and work on that in a minute.
