Q. All right, here with Bronte Law. Bronte, take me through your round today. What were some of the challenges out there? I know the wind, but how were you managing them?
BRONTE LAW: Yeah, it was pretty windy. You know, those into-wind holes were very challenging, some pin positions where there is not much green to work with, and when a gust of wind blows in your face it makes that landing area even smaller.
So just being smart with where you want to leave yourself. You know you're not always going to hit all the greens, so leaving yourself in position to where you are more likely to make up and down.
Yeah, but just thought I managed that pretty well today. I think that's kind of the key when you're playing this style of golf course. I do enjoy it. I think it's a lot of fun. But you have to, you know, stay like switched on all day.
Q. What's your familiarity with links courses? Did you play them a lot growing up?
BRONTE LAW: Yeah, tried to. I'm a member at couple links courses, so always try and play those when I get home. There is that sense of having to be able to play a lot of different types of shots that I really enjoy. Any time I get the chance to do that, I kind of relish that.
Q. How will Galgorm tomorrow and the rest of the week be a different challenge? What are you expecting?
BRONTE LAW: Completely different. I'm going to go over there on the putting green now and get to grips with the green speeds because they're slightly different, hit some shots on the range, and just kind of get out of the wind mentality for links courses and a little more target golf as it will be out there tomorrow. It's been playing a little softer, so, yeah, very different.
