Ryann O'Toole

Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Ryann O'Toole after your third round. Seeing your name at the top of the leaderboard, how happy are you with your game this week and take me through that.

RYANN O'TOOLE: I definitely feel like my game is trending. I noticed it the last couple weeks. Things are starting to fall into place, very consistent, things I've been working on.

Just getting the confidence up there is very just -- there is not a lot of erratic shots, so it's been really good.

Q. Couple birdies on the card; I think five. Any highlights out there for you today? What was the best one?

RYANN O'TOOLE: On 10 I hit my second shot basically into the bush, and -- you know, up by the green, and so I was in the bush and I had this weird like putting chippy little stance that I could barely get on.

I hit 9-iron; it just ran past the pin through the green and then I chipped it in, so I would say that was the highlight birdie. It was kind of nice just I felt like I got very unlucky to be in the bush, ball not in the bush, so one of those.

Q. Pretty solid rounds here at Galgorm. What is it about this course that suits your game or that you like here?

RYANN O'TOOLE: I like shotmaking. I think every hole is different. You have to work the ball. I really like that. From tee to green you have to play shots. And like with the wind, some are crosswinds, you know, like Castlerock was either downwind or into the wind. Here you got a lot of crosswinds so you really have to commit to shots and kind of just take it as it comes and be really patient.

There is lot of scorable holes out there. Today played definitely a lot shorter, which was unexpected. Feel like I didn't capitalize on some of those shorter, pushed-up tees.

But I stayed patient and it worked out.

Q. Last question from me. Your win on the tour came in Scotland, also an LET event.

RYANN O'TOOLE: Yeah.

Q. Is there anything similar about these two event ooze or any of those memories that come back at all?

RYANN O'TOOLE: I don't know. Maybe I just like playing in the UK. Maybe that's something I need to hone in on, figure out. I'm sure Georgia would say yes.

No, I mean, ever since the win in Scotland I've been trying to have it happen again. Tomorrow just go out and see what happens.
