Q. Two days in the books. Dead even tied. Singles play can feel rather lonely. What was your message to the players as they went out there today.
STACY LEWIS: We talked about it last night. We talked about now the team is the player and caddie tee, back to what they normally do. But just how proud of them we were how they came together as a team. The girls worked together so well this week, and they were really fired up last night. So it was a really cool team room last night, a bunch of people got up and spoke, so we had a great night.
Q. What was your strategy for the lineups? You both went out heavy in the beginning and at the end. In particular we're curious about putting Lexi Thompson in the anchor position, a place that she's never played.
STACY LEWIS: Yeah, I mean, Lexi historically has always liked to go first, but I just, I needed someone that knew what this event was about, that knew what the pressure was like at the end of the day. Listen, she's been great all week, and I just felt like she was the perfect person to be in that position. But we went out, I wanted energy and I wanted people that were playing good out early. Then kind of mix people in throughout the middle. The middle was playing pretty darn good, too. We had a good problem in that so many were playing well. We kind of focused on that 9, 10, 11 because I feel like just as close as it's been, it's going to be close in there.
