Q. (No Microphone.)
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: It was really hard out there. Yeah, I was 3-down early on 7 and just, like, things were not going my way and I was getting pretty frustrated and Stacy came and told me on 13, after I hit my approach shot, she said, ‘Are you ready to fight today?’ I was like, ‘I am.’ And I won -- I made -- me and Gemma made great birdies on 13 and 14. She's one of my really good friends and like a heck of a player. But, yeah, like I won holes 15 and 16 to kind of bring back the match to all square. I told myself, don't give up, like just keep fighting, because we need any points we can get, a half point. And being 3-down and kind of bringing it back. Being 2-down with four holes to play and bringing it back to all square I'm really proud of myself.
Q. You've long said Stacy was a huge mentor for you. What did it mean to play for her?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: It did, it really did. Her giving me kind of a pep talk on 13 was really helpful and I have so much respect for her. It was just so awesome that she's my captain.
Q. The scoreboards out there, were you watching, did you know what was going on around you?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Let's see, I did not know what was going on kind of like by my back nine. I saw the scoreboard on the front nine and kind of like people were kind of down early, kind of like flip-flopped some matches. Yeah, and I hoped that we kind of get it going, I could kind of peek up and see a little bit, but hopefully we kind of flip a few.
Q. Overall, how has the week been for you?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: It's been incredible, it's been awesome. So, yeah, it's been incredible, it's been a dream of mine to support my country.
Q. Seeing the board right now, that tie must feel pretty good, yeah?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: Yeah, it does. I was down like 3-down early and just kind of bringing it back to get a half point was huge for my team. So I'm kind of struggling to see the board and what's going on, but hopefully we can finish it off.
Q. You played well yesterday and today. How would you summarize those two rounds?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: It's been great. I had so much fun playing with Ally and Angel, kind of the first and second day, and then today kind of being by myself a little bit different. But it's just been a blast. All the fans, even when they're not rooting for me, it's just a really cool experience and just for women's golf in general.
Q. How do you spend the last matches out here?
CHEYENNE KNIGHT: I'm going to go out there and support my teammates and chant some USA's against the Ole's.
