Q. I'm alongside a newcomer as an assistant captain, but not a newcomer when it comes to Solheim Cup experience. You played on seven of these teams. Only part of two losing teams, five winning teams. What kind of experience, feelings, thoughts, stories, have you been sharing with Team USA to help propel them and get them off to a hot start?
PAULA CREAMER: I'm the newbie. I can't give out a ton of advice. I'm just trying to figure out what I am doing with my role. I keep asking Stacy every day, okay, what do you want me to do? Just be specific and I will do it.
But these girls are so good. What a show that Megan and Nelly just put on. This morning I was with Lilia and Sarah.
It's so much fun, the energy. I keep telling them just enjoy it. Enjoy this time with your partner in this amazing place representing your country. There's nothing better than that.
Q. You're 2-0 going with your groups today. Nelly Korda and Megan Khang were just on fire today. How important is it to see so much red on the board as you keep trying to build this momentum and win back the Cup?
PAULA CREAMER: It's huge, definitely. I think with our lineups, you see that. We really wanted to get the crowd going this afternoon with Nelly and Megan and throwing them out there.
They did their job. That was their role. It is so fun to watch. I love playing, but, man, I just -- I'm having such a great time. I'm so thankful for Stacy, and she has done such a good job of bringing us all together.
Q. You were born and bred to play in these Solheim Cups, and it's great to see you as assistant captain. Thanks for your time.
