Q. Laura, I know the players are fighting their hearts out there trying. They're giving absolutely everything out here. It goes without saying. Just how absolutely crucial are these last two points for the Europeans?
LAURA DAVIES: Well, we have to win them. The Americans are already on 10 which means we need four and a half of the singles, so these matches, if we don't win both of them -- we're in serious trouble anyway, obviously, but that will almost be a nail in the coffin.
Tomorrow is the singles. They will play well. The Americans have played unbelievable. I don't know how many eagles they've had. It seems like they've had double figures. They've just played great golf. Outputted us at the moment. Deep squad of players. We'll never say never, but it is going to be very, very difficult to get the Cup back.
Q. Tell me what your players are showing you right now, though, you and Suzann, the other VCs in terms of their heart, determination, and that never-say-die attitude?
LAURA DAVIES: Exactly what you've just said, they've got it all. They're trying so hard. It's so crushing, back there on the 6th hole, lovely putt from Carlota and Lexi chips in; the next hole she hits it absolutely dead; follows another great shot.
So hard just to break away and get a point off these players because they are playing so well. Every single one of our players, even the ones that have sat out, they're out here supporting, given their all and tomorrow is going to be a very tough day, but more importantly we've got to get these two home.
