Q. Anna another LPGA appearance, and here you are on another weekend. How was it like playing another third round here at an LPGA Tour event?
ANNA DAVIS: I guess it's pretty awesome. I don't know how to describe it. I think two weeks ago I kind of knew what I was getting into, and now I kind of know what's going to happen on the weekend or kind of know what to expect.
Q. I know you talked a little bit in Palos Verdes about you don't really get the nerves. That you try to keep it at it's just like any other event. Do you still feel that way, or was there any kind of nerves making this weekend?
ANNA DAVIS: No, I don't think so. I think yesterday I wasn't that nervous because I feel like I was well inside the cut line, so I wasn't that nervous going into it.
Q. What was that feeling like knowing that now you're not kind of fighting at the end of your round?
ANNA DAVIS: It's definitely a big difference from two weeks ago because two weeks ago, obviously, the nerves are there, and you're trying to make the cut. Whereas, here I'm trying to move up the leader board, so it's definitely different emotions going.
Q. Different emotions. New feelings. One of the things, you got to play with Jennifer Kupcho today, the inaugural ANWA winner. What was that like for you? Did you talk at all throughout the course about kind of your connection?
ANNA DAVIS: Not really. I don't know. I don't really talk when I golf. Yeah, it's cool. We have something in common.
Q. When you saw that last night, were you, like, oh, that's pretty neat?
ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, I got texts and stuff, like, oh, my God, two ANWA champs.
Q. Another day. It's Celebrating Shirley Day, as a sponsor for this tournament. I see you wearing the Shirley Sport rubber duck bucket hat. What's it mean to be able to celebrate a legend like Shirley Spork on a day like this?
ANNA DAVIS: It's cool because I met her a few months ago back at Solheim, so to be able to represent her this week is good.
Q. It would have been her 95th birthday today, which is why you see --
ANNA DAVIS: Wow. Is that why we're all wearing the hat? That makes a lot more sense now. I was, like, why aren't we all wearing it two days ago? I don't know.
Q. You met her as a Junior Solheim Cup participant. What was that like when you got to meet her in person? Did she tell any stories or talk --
ANNA DAVIS: She did. She shared her knowledge with us. We got to talk with her. I didn't know she was that old, but, yeah, she's obviously been around for a long time, so it was good it hear from her.
Q. Playing with Jennifer, another ANWA champion, do you maybe see any motivation in yourself in she, obviously, won ANWA and now she's the most recent major champion. Does that kind of serve any motivation for you?
ANNA DAVIS: Definitely. I think it kind of gives me a lot of confidence that I know that she won that thing three years ago, and I don't know how long she's been on tour, but I think two years maybe. That definitely gives me hope for the future for sure.
