Q. Four consecutive birdies on the back. What was behind that hot start?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, I almost birdied my first hole as well, 10. So it was a nice hot start. Just kind of kept it rolling. Hit some really nice shots quite close as well.
So just rolled the putts in, which was nice.
Q. Playing in the same group at In-Kyung Kim, who got off to a pretty good start there. What kind of impact does that have on your day when you're playing with someone who is also off to a good start?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, we had good vibes in the group. So Yeon was playing well on the front nine as well, so we had some birdies going, which was nice. I.K., she birdied the first hole and kept going as well.
So it was nice to have good vibes. Always helps I think.
Q. Right in the mix in your last start in LA as well. What did you take from that week into this week?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, a lot of confidence. I didn't have the best round on Sunday but I still felt like I played pretty well. More experience in those positions is going to help.
Got a win in Japan last year, but just getting more experience in those final groups is going to help.
So just take that confidence into this week.
