Q. I'm here with Bailey Tardy. Congrats on your round today. Really, really good birdies there all throughout the round. Let's just start off first by saying you're a rookie this year. How has it been being out here for the first time playing?
BAILEY TARDY: You know, I'm just taking it all in. It's been pretty stressful at times just trying to manage my time and my practice and not overpractice, but it's been fun.
It's been a huge learning experience, and I've been getting better every week.
Q. How has it been playing with other people out here, too? You had two great competitors out there today. Anything you grabbed from them today?
BAILEY TARDY: We didn't really talk much. Yeah, I've played a lot of practice rounds with girls out here, major champions, tour winners. I just kind of take in some notes from their practice rounds and how they scope out the greens and where the past -- previous pins were, just kind of stuff like that.
They've been, I don't know, giving me all the information that they can.
Q. And so being the first time playing out here, what have you taken from the course?
BAILEY TARDY: It's very narrow.
Q. Yes.
BAILEY TARDY: Yeah, it's very narrow off the tee so definitely hitting the fairways is probably pretty key out here. Rough isn't very friendly either, so just kind of keeping it between the lined fairways, the trees, I think that definitely helped me today.
Q. Great round today. How will you carry that into tomorrow?
BAILEY TARDY: I played really well today. I didn't putt the greatest. I think I hit 16 greens and had two three-putts, so I'm going to go work on my putting for a second and eat some lunch and just relax this afternoon and come back prepared tomorrow.
