Q. 5-under 67. What did you find today at Oak Valley that was different?
HANNAH GREEN: I felt like I played good yesterday but after having four weeks off was a little bit rusty but today I had more bogeys on the scorecard. Just holed two really good putts which had been a while since I've done that back-to-back. But yeah, just had a really good group. It was good vibes and I enjoy Korea.
Q. What were the highlights?
HANNAH GREEN: I think definitely the eagle on 15. I had an 8-iron into the hole, so I wanted to capitalize on it. But didn't hit it as close as I would have liked but I holed a really nice putt so that was good. The next hole, holed a long putt, too. Felt like the hole was quite big for a while.
Q. You took four weeks off. Spent some time at home. You looked fresh and bright. What did that do for your energy levels as we head into the final few events?
HANNAH GREEN: I was planning on playing the mid hill championship but only had ten days at home and I decided to withdraw because I felt like that wasn't enough. I decided to take two weeks completely away from the golf course and then two weeks to get ready for this event, so yeah, mentally and physically feeling refreshed which is really nice because I do have three more events after this for the year. So just want to make sure that I keep pushing but don't tire myself out for the rest of the year.
Q. You started to do that a lot more over the past couple years. What did you learn from a previous year where you pushed a little too hard?
HANNAH GREEN: I feel like as a rookie, you try and play as many tournaments as possible to try to get as many CME points or as much money. I feel like sometimes that doesn't work, and you put too much pressure on yourself or burn yourself out.
Since 2019, I have the luxury of being able to pick my schedule so I've been doing that as much as possible and hopefully I can continue to do that for the rest of my career because I do think it's very helpful.
Q. Heading into the weekend, a couple back of the leaders, but what's the mindset? Tricky golf course from what I hear but some low scores out there?
HANNAH GREEN: I feel like you can definitely make some big numbers but so long as you keep hitting fairways, you've got pretty good opportunities to go at the pin. It does get quite swirly here at Oak Valley, so hopefully it's not too bad over the next coming days. But this is a beautiful temperature to play golf in and it's great to have spectators out here so I just want to enjoy the weekend and try to play as well as possible.
