Q. Here with Hyo Joo Kim, a 6-under 66, bogey-free today. Evaluate your round.
HYO JOO KIM: I'm extremely happy with the bogey-free round, and that boosted my confidence. But I have to say I wasn't hitting as well as I would have liked because a dropped a lot of putts, so tomorrow if I hit a little bit better, I might do better tomorrow.
Q. You found something today. It sounds like it was on the green. What was the difference between today and the last couple of days?
HYO JOO KIM: When I was beginning the round, going in I was thinking that I need to focus more on distance and the lie. I didn't think I was getting that quite right.
In the first two rounds, my putts kind of just rolled off, so I thought that I really need to focus on getting the lie, reading the lies right and shoring up some of the errors on that end, and I think I did well.
Q. You put together a really solid round in front of your hometown crowd. You now have a chance to win the only championship in Korea in your hometown. What would it mean tomorrow to get that victory here in Wonju?
HYO JOO KIM: First of all, I really want to win, and like you said, this is the first LPGA Tour event in my hometown literally, so I hope that I can play well until the end without any regrets.
Q. Getting that second win of the season, probably first two-win season in a while. What would that mean?
HYO JOO KIM: Let's just say I hope I do well tomorrow so I can answer this question again tomorrow.
