Q. What were some of the differences that you saw on this course as opposed to maybe yesterday to today?
JEONGEUN LEE6: So obviously it was colder today. And unlike in the courses in the U.S., this is a mountainous region, so the wind tends to swirl. And that was a bit of a challenge today.
Q. For you, what was the mindset after yesterday coming into this second day here in Korea?
JEONGEUN LEE6: So I just gave it my best today. Like yesterday the weather was really nice. So I thought that we could get really good scores.
Today I didn't expect to shoot as low as I did yesterday, but I thought that if I kept continuing consistent play that I could catch up on the leaderboard.
Q. Three consecutive birdies on your back nine there. What was working well on those holes?
JEONGEUN LEE6: So the most memorable one out of the three was the birdie on 12. And it was a really difficult tee shot because we were playing into the wind. And for that second shot, I missed it on left, but I was really lucky because I chipped it in.
Q. What is it like being back in Korea for you? How excited have you been to be back at this event?
JEONGEUN LEE6: Obviously it's such a joy to play in front of the Korean fans. It's been a while. I haven't played on this course, but I've played on the Swan Valley course, and I've won there. So coming back here, a lot of good memories are coming back, and hopefully I'm getting a flow of good energy as well.
Q. What event did you win here?
JEONGEUN LEE6: The KLPGA event.
