Q. You finished the round with 8-under par today, first place. How do you feel?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Very good. Played very solid today. Any time you shoot 8-under, it's really good but struck it well and then holed some really good putts.
Q. So the Asian Swing tee-off time is very early but you started off first. So did it affect you at all?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: It is always very difficult when you have to set your alarm at 4:00 a.m. and obviously we're a little away, like an hour from the hotel in the car. But make sure I give myself enough time to get to the work to wake up and warm up correctly and once you're ready to go, it's okay.
Q. Many players today weren't able to make their putts today. How are you able to overcome this?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: The last two days I've worked pretty hard on my putting. I didn't putt very well last week but done some video work with my putting coach and my swing coach. Between the three of us, we figured something out. And I kind of changed something a little bit in my setup and tried to implement it, and it seemed to work today.
Q. So you scored eight birdies today with no bogeys. So I want to ask you if the course was really comfortable for you.
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, this course it does suit me. Last year in the first here I shot 10-under, so I clearly like the first rounds at this golf course.
The conditions were perfect. It was a little cold when we teed off so the ball was traveling like one club less. But on the back nine it was beautiful. Yeah, I just hit it into good areas, and like I said, made some really good putts.
Q. So obviously you had an amazing start. So you want to stand on this performance tomorrow, so what aspects are you focussing on tomorrow?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Just trying to do the same things as today. You know, just feel comfortable with that setup in the putting. I've been hitting it well for quite a few weeks now, but I think tomorrow might be a bit challenging. We're supposed to get a lot of rain. So I think a lot of patience will be required tomorrow.
