Q. Solid 5-under today. Just walk us through your round there. Looked like you got on a tear of birdies there on the back nine.
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah, obviously my tee ball was really well and keeping in play, which is important out here, and then rolling from some putts.
So for me, my putter is probably one of the clubs, if I get that rolling, then I have some good chances to look at birdies.
Q. You had a pretty good year. Obviously recently graduated and a pretty solid showing at the Women's Amateur. What kind of prep work were you going double fault you came to second stage?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah, I played pretty much as an amateur over the summer and turned pro after first stage of Q-School. Played in a WAPT and got a sponsor's invite for a Symetra event, so I had a couple tournaments to prepare and get ready for this.
Q. You've been in the spotlight and around. Has it been a big learning curve or not so much?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Definitely college golf, being able to play in some big tournaments with a lot of good competitors over the past couple years has kind of helped me a lot stay calm.
Q. Delaney on your bag this week.
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah.
Q. Obviously former teammate.
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yes.
Q. What's that been like?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah, it's been great. She'd caddied for me before. We get along well. She knows my game pretty well and we know each other, so she helps me stay calm so it's been a lot of fun.
Q. I'm going to ask about the Kentucky. Do you and Emma Talley talk at all?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: I don't know her that well because she is quite a bit older than me, so we didn't play high school together. I did meet her. I played in an LPGA event over summer and she was there so we got to talk a little bit.
She's so nice, and it's great to be able to watch and follow her and what she's done for Kentucky golf.
Q. Have you reached out being a newly minted professional about like, Hey, help?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah, I asked her a few questions, but our assistant coach at Louisville, our old assistant played on tour on for years and she just came off, so I have quite a few people that I know that I've been reaching out to. Probably do some more these next few weeks.
Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, went from T45 and jumped, made a massive jump up the leaderboard. How much more comfortable do you feel going into Sunday?
LAUREN HARTLAGE: Yeah, I just want to keep the same game plan going. Go to the range and work on a few things, but just staying patient. Never know what can happen out there. Just give myself some good opportunities.
