Quick Quotes

Q. First off, what was today like, final round, 1-under 71. How did it go out there and how did the game feel?

JESSICA PENG: It was a little bit struggle during the round. My irons, the ball striking is not as good as the last couple days, but I do get a lot of up and downs so I think -- well, kind of change my mindset a little bit because my putting has been really good this week, so like if I just get on the green I can made the putt anywhere on the green.

So that's all I want to do on the back, but that's all I have been trying to do. I still miss a lot of them.

Q. That's okay. You had four birdies at Nos. 3, 6, 14, and 15.

JESSICA PENG: Yes.

Q. Any of them stand out? Did you make any of those long putts anywhere on the green?

JESSICA PENG: None of them are close. I think the closest was 12 feet.

Q. Okay.

JESSICA PENG: Yeah.

Q. So they were all pretty long?

JESSICA PENG: Just like pretty straight line, yeah, but they're not close.

Q. Okay.

JESSICA PENG: Yeah.

Q. Any one of them more memorable?

JESSICA PENG: I think the one on 13.

Q. 14?

JESSICA PENG: 14. 14 and 15, right? I think I made two. I think 14 was, because I had bogey-bogey, that put me 1-over for the day.

Then kind of like, I can't finish like that, so I kind of like, okay, I have to do better and kind of like probably more self-talk after that two bogeys.

And I think I really want to make the putt, like really bad today. Yeah. That's it.

Q. Did you play a little more free today than the past couple days?

JESSICA PENG: No.

Q. No?

JESSICA PENG: I know top 45 is good, but you want to play the best you can. But today was -- oh, when I was hitting the ball at the range I told my caddie, Today is probably not knew day. That's what I really told him. So he just kept telling me, Just hit it. I was like, I know, right, but the ball is not going where I want to be. Yeah.

Q. Excited for Q-Series?

JESSICA PENG: I am actually. I was a little bit homesick before I start this week. I was like, oh, my God I want to go home. At the same time, already here, just get the job done. Yeah.

Q. So what's the plan for the next month? Are you staying in the States?

JESSICA PENG: Yes, I will stay here. I will stay in Georgia with also my former teammates, yeah.

Q. Who is that?

JESSICA PENG: Ji Eun Baik.

Q. Yeah.

JESSICA PENG: I will stay with her.

Q. Ji Eun Baik, Symetra Tour player.

JESSICA PENG: Yes.

Q. Where at?

JESSICA PENG: Where she practice. (Laughter.) I think it's like 10 minutes from her house.

Q. Where she practices?

JESSICA PENG: Yeah, where she practices.

Q. Then what have you heard about Q-Series?

JESSICA PENG: Oh, all I know it's like Stage II is like Top 400 and like people from Symetra Tour, so I know the field is going to get like stronger and stronger.

I haven't think about that yet, but I probably will start thinking about it closer to the time. Right now I'm really just need time out.

Q. Mental time out?

JESSICA PENG: Yeah.
