Q. That was a really good round, and I've got to say, Falls course is playing significantly harder today, seems like. Tell me about your day. Seemed pretty solid.
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, I played pretty solid tee to green. You know, hit a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. I think I missed one green throughout the whole day.
It was pretty steady, so good day, good start.
Q. Exactly. And I got to think it's got to good to get off to a good start. Yes, it's eight rounds, but to immediately get off to a good click, does that maybe help your conversation?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, obviously it's a long two weeks, eight rounds, and you just have to stay patient, but obviously a good round is always a good round no matter when it comes.
And a few good rounds throughout these two weeks will probably helps, so it's good to check off one of them, and hopefully can do a couple more.
Q. You had a bunch of birdies out there on the day. Any holes that really stood out to you as key holes?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: You know, I think I started off very solid. You know, hit a lot of fairways, greens, and then when I came to I believe it was 7, I had like a nine-footer for birdie; made that.
I think that really like started the momentum, and then I made another one on 8. So I think those two tricky putts, a little downhill sliders, that good read and good rolls, I think that was a good start of a good day.
Q. Do you now about how long those putts were?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: They were both about eight, nine feed, so yeah, it was pretty good.
And then on 10 hit it very, very close, to like one foot or two foot, two feet. So hit some good shots today, so take that.
Q. Yes. And how long have you been down in the area here? When did you get here?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I got here Sunday.
Q. Okay.
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, so played few holes Sunday and then Monday, Tuesday.
Q. Had you seen either of these courses before you got here?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, I was actually here and played both these courses just once like two, three weeks ago. I made a stop with my friend who lives in north Florida, so we drove up here and played the courses.
Q. So a little scouting trip. Does that help you? Do you like to see courses before when you can?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Yeah, I mean, I think you want to conserve energy on a week like this, so not having to play like -- force yourself to play 18 holes the days prior to the tournament, I think that's good.
And always the more looks you get on a course the better. Sometimes you pick up a new -- couple of new things every time, so I think that's key.
Q. Last question: You head over to Crossing tomorrow. What is the game plan for that course?
LINNEA JOHANSSON: I really think it's just sticking to the same thing. Find big areas off the tee, and, you know, big areas on the greens, and when you have your chances, you can be a little bit aggressive.
And then, you know, seven more rounds. You just have to stay patient. Good shots will happen; bad shots will happen. You just got to have to live with it. That's my strategy.
Q. Good round today.
LINNEA JOHANSSON: Thank you.
