Q. Yue, 3-under today, six birdies. You already talked about a lot of things working well. You putted really well.
YUE REN: Yes.
Q. Hitting the ball close.
YUE REN: Uh-huh.
Q. You said your driver, if it was out of 100, you were 99. Hitting really well.
YUE REN: 100 is for like whole day. The whole day if it's 100, I give me 99.
Q. Oh. Almost A++. Yeah, really good.
YUE REN: Yes, really good.
Q. Okay. So we're in Florida, but it was pretty cold this morning.
YUE REN: Yes.
Q. Very windy today.
YUE REN: Uh-huh.
Q. What is your approach when you're in those conditions? What are you thinking about?
YUE REN: Oh, in my mind I'm thinking everybody, because cold is not just for me, it's for everybody.
Wind is also for everybody, so I'm not thinking about like it's hard or it's -- I'm just, oh, if it has wind I just aim right. Yeah, it's no like -- I'm just thinking every shot if the wind is right to left, I just aim more right. That's no problem.
So I'm not thinking, oh, why the wind is that big? Why it's so cold? I'm not thinking about something I can't control it. So I just hit my shots. Yeah, I just -- yeah, I hit my shot, and if it goes good, oh, okay, I take that. If it goes not good, oh, okay, maybe I should go to save the ball.
It's still no problem.
Q. Yeah.
YUE REN: Just keep, how you say that, positive?
Q. That's great.
YUE REN: Yeah.
Q. You've had about one month off since the Epson Tour Championship to prepare. What have you been doing the last month?
YUE REN: Last month, yeah, we have one month off and I practiced not really -- I practiced not really hard. (Laughter.)
I take some rest. Yeah, because off-season, so I give me like some days off and I take some rest and I'm not practice a lot.
Yeah, I just -- how to say that? I want to practice and I go. If I don't want, no, I rest. Do you got it?
Q. Yeah.
YUE REN: Yeah.
Q. Nice, nice.
YUE REN: Yeah.
Q. Did you stay in the U.S.?
YUE REN: Yes, I rent a house in Orlando.
Q. Oh, nice.
YUE REN: Yeah, I stay there. Just two hour from here.
Q. That's great.
YUE REN: Yes, really good.
Q. And what is your plan or mindset head into tomorrow?
YUE REN: Oh, my plan tomorrow?
Q. Yeah.
YUE REN: Just play golf. Yeah, I'm not thinking like the score. I'm not thinking about that. I just hit my shot. Yeah, tomorrow, if it's still wind, oh, okay. If still cold, yeah, oh, okay. Everything okay like. I take them. Yeah, I just let me keep positive. Yes.
