Q. Did you play college golf? And if so, where?
LAURA WEARN: I went to Furman University.
Q. What years were you there?
LAURA WEARN: I graduated in December of '13.
Q. Cool. And do you know what your career-best finish is?
LAURA WEARN: Well, I won on Epson.
Q. Okay. And then what are you most proud of so far in your career?
LAURA WEARN: I think just that I've continued to grind it out and try to follow my dreams. I've had a lot of success and a lot of failures, but stuck with it throughout everything.
Q. And do you know your career-best round?
LAURA WEARN: 63 in Rochester the Danielle Downey.
Q. Why did you decide to pursue professional golf as a career and what keeps you out here week after week?
LAURA WEARN: I don't know. I never thought I would be a golfer, but I played in college and just loved it, so I came out here and tried it and I just met so many nice people. But I love to compete. I know I can improve each year, so I think just seeing the improvement and getting to compete keeps me out here.
Q. And what are your hobbies outside of golf?
LAURA WEARN: I love to play tennis, pickleball, hike, go skiing. Anything outside. I'm down doing anything.
Q. If you weren't a professional golfer, what would you be doing for a job?
LAURA WEARN: Gosh, I get that question a lot and I have no idea what I would do, but hopefully golf will work out for the next a little bit and then I'll figure it out after that.
