Q. Okay, so to start off, a 8-under round. Just incredible. How did it feel walking off that last green?
ELLINOR SUDOW: No, it was fun. That's my best tournament round ever, and just incredibly fun to get it going on this tournament. Really cool.
Q. And then to start off your round you were 5-under through the first six holes. You had a stretch of four birdies in a row. What was going through your head and how did that give you a lot of momentum heading into that back nine?
ELLINOR SUDOW: Just gave myself opportunities. Yesterday nothing dropped; today I gave myself a lot of opportunities.
I talked to my coach yesterday and he was just like, just take advantage of the opportunities and just keep going.
That's kind of my thought throughout the entire day. Just give myself opportunities and hopefully they'll drop today, and they did. So it was really cool.
Q. And can you walk me through your eagle on No. 5?
ELLINOR SUDOW: I didn't eagle No. 5. I just have six birdies.
Q. Okay.
ELLINOR SUDOW: No, wait. I don't know what I got. 8-under, so...
Q. Okay. Still, a lot to be proud of. Still a really good round. One bogey on the day. Obviously with eight rounds of golf it's just a lot and it's a really long journey to get that LPGA Tour card.
ELLINOR SUDOW: Yes.
Q. How do you keep positive knowing that mistakes are going to happen, and in such a good round, not letting it affect the rest of what you're doing?
ELLINOR SUDOW: I think just keep, like I said, giving myself opportunities. Bogeys will happen, of course. Hopefully those are just bogeys and not more.
Just try to keep it to that. That was a three-putt and that was like my first really bad second putt; everything else was pretty solid. So I just miss-hit it a little bit.
And not letting it affect you mentally that I started the ball a little bit left, but everything else is just -- yeah, just gave myself opportunities, good speed, and hopefully they will fall.
So, yeah.
Q. And then sitting at 16-under for the tournament so far, up in that T17 range. Obviously still some girls to finish today; one day left in the competition. Do you change your mindset? What are you thinking going into tomorrow, 18 holes left and an LPGA Tour card on the line?
ELLINOR SUDOW: It's just so cool when you say that. No, I haven't thought about it. But, yeah, I'm just going to take every -- like just put my other foot in front of the other. It's just opportunities out here.
And not be scared. Like these greens are a little bit intimidating. They can be quick if you're in the wrong spot, so just hitting the right clubs to the smart place and leave myself some good, smart putts.
And, yeah, I'm just really excited to go out and play tomorrow again. It's really cool to be in this position.
