Q. Here with Ines Lakalech. What a day. You have an LPGA Tour card in hand. First player of Arab heritage, North African heritage to be out here on the LPGA Tour, first Moroccan. What does what mean to you?
INES LAKALECH: That means a lot. It's hard to realize because that just happened today, but I'm very proud of how I played the last two weeks -- and this year in general -- because, I mean, not too long ago I just stop playing after my studies and I got back to it about two years ago.
So it's amazing to have my LPGA card for next year. I'm very happy and proud, not only for me, but for my whole country and for the Arab world as well. I hope this is going to inspire a lot of people as the National Team inspired me this week.
Q. I mean, to have won on the LET this year, checked that box. What does it mean to add this to your list of firsts this year, when you're the first to do everything now, as far as professional golf goes?
INES LAKALECH: It was one of my goals at the beginning of the year. I wanted to win as well on LET, and I think coming to Q-Series with a professional win really gave me an extra confidence boost.
So I'm very happy about this year and I'm looking forward to next year.
Q. When you hear you're an LPGA Tour rookie, what does that mean to you?
INES LAKALECH: It means a lot. I mean, like I said, last year you would've told me you're going to be an LPGA member next year I wouldn't believe it.
I mean, I was lacking a lot of experience the beginning of the year. It's been pretty new to me, as it was my first year as a professional golfer this year.
So very, very proud.
Q. Did this with husband on the bag as well. What does that mean?
INES LAKALECH: Means a lot. I mean, he's been an incredible support so far, and he knows what to tell me when I get nervous or when I get -- I mean, high and lows, so very happy that he's here.
And, yeah, looking forward to share more moments like these in the coming years.
