Q. Amelia, so 2-under round today. Is this your first time at Stage II?
AMELIA WILLIAMSON: I played last year as an amateur.
Q. All right. So talk about your experience last year and how it helped you this year going into Stage II.
AMELIA WILLIAMSON: Well, it's always nice to have played a course before. Come into it with a little bit more relaxed mindset in terms of what's what and where everything is.
It's actually going to be hard to compare because of the conditions last year. They were so hard. Totally different. Lashing rain, wind. So you just have to come in as if it's like a brand new week.
At the end of the day it's just another tournament. You can't hype it up. It's just another 72 holes.
Q. And then played on Epson a little this year. How does the Epson prepare you for all these qualifying tournaments towards the end of the year?
AMELIA WILLIAMSON: Just being exposed to different types of players in a different environment compared to college. You know, when you start playing for money, the people around you act slightly different. I think it's that, which helps.
It's more of a fierce competition and attitude which players possess, and I think that's what helps you when you come to Q-School. More like the demon mentality.
