Q. All right, Clariss, 4-under round. Talk about your preparation come into this week after long Epson Tour season this year.
CLARISS GUCE: Yeah, definitely had to take some time off. Just kind of slowly backed up and make sure that priorities were just short game and putting. Yeah, pretty much it.
Q. And then chillier conditions this morning. Talk about how you prepared for that, for a little bit different of a round today.
CLARISS GUCE: I haven't really -- just really don't. You just hope you layer properly and take it as it goes. You just have to be patient with yourself and understand balls are going to go shorter because not only of the cold air, but you're also not moving as fast.
Just being patient and nicer to yourself and picking your battles.
Q. Is there one thing you learned about your game throughout the Epson Tour season that you transitioned to Q-Series?
CLARISS GUCE: I definitely think I just learned that being nicer to myself sometimes works wonders. I probably have not given myself more credit for putting. I think I've always -- I think kind of this season I've learned I'm a lot better putter than I thought I was. So definitely.
Q. And then Epson Tour tournaments, most of them are three-round tournaments.
CLARISS GUCE: Yeah.
Q. How do you prepare this week for a potential six-round tournament?
CLARISS GUCE: I think just take it hole at a time, shot at a time. I think looking at the big picture it is quite a bit overwhelming and of course going to be tiring, but like just take it a shot at a time and go from there.
