Quick Quotes

Q. Jennifer Song, 10-under after two rounds here at Q-Series. What's been working so well for you?

JENNIFER SONG: I think it's just been placing myself in the right location. I wasn't trying to be too greedy out there when there was a chance to make putts.

I think a lot of them converted into birdies, so I putted really well today. I think that is why I had a great round today.

Q. That might be the answer to my next question. Bogey-free, to do that in a normal tournament is awesome, but to do it here when the stakes are higher, where were you at mentally as you're seeing birdies drop?

JENNIFER SONG: I think I was really calm out there. Then the entire time I think I told myself, be calm like Inbee and have a butter rhythm like Amy Yang. I think that just kept my game in the right spot today.

Q. You played both courses now. Is there one or what are some of the bigger differences you've seen out of each?

JENNIFER SONG: Today I was coming into the Falls Course I thought it was going to be very long, but thankfully the weather warmed up and that was a huge advantage. Greens were really soft so I was able to attack the flag and it was pretty simple out there.

Q. Is there one, Falls or Crossings, that maybe suits your game a little bit better or that you're more comfortable with?

JENNIFER SONG: I think I'm comfortable with both of them as of now.

Q. And last one: What can a round like this do for the momentum heading forward?

JENNIFER SONG: I think feeling confident, I think just play my game for the next four rounds. I think nothing is going to change. As long as I keep my mentality calm and be patient out there, I think everything is going to be fine.
