Q. You made it through the entirety. You made it through. Just your thoughts and feelings after this week.
AZAHARA MUNOZ: Obviously I'm very happy. I wasn't even sure if I was going to come this week but I decided to give it one more go.
Obviously now I'm very happy I came and got my card again, so one more year.
Q. I don't know, I think you might have played with her, but there is a young Spanish player in the field, Julia Lopez Ramirez.
AZAHARA MUNOZ: She's from my town.
Q. From your town? Did you get to talk with her at all this week?
AZAHARA MUNOZ: Yeah.
Q. What was that like?
AZAHARA MUNOZ: It's amazing. She's such a sweet girl. We actually even went to the same elementary school and had the same teacher growing up. It's a really cute story.
So our teacher, my parents are teachers so we are very good friends with them still. My parents are pretty good friends with them. He said to my dad, I have a girl that reminds me so much of Aza. And this was when we were 11 and 12.
So, yeah, I've known her now for a few years and she's super sweet. Did she make it?
Q. Yeah.
AZAHARA MUNOZ: Yeah! Oh, my gosh. That's awesome.
Q. She shot 8-under today.
AZAHARA MUNOZ: 8-under? I saw yesterday she was 3-under and they were in front of us but we couldn't see much. I'm so happy.
Q. Just in general, I know you said you kind of debated whether to come this week. Another year on the LPGA Tour. What does getting through this experience say about you and what it means for your career?
AZAHARA MUNOZ: I mean, I think it proves that I still want to do it. Last year just before the Olympics I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep playing anymore. I don't know, the last couple months I've change a few things and all of a sudden I really, really wanted to do it.
So, you know, my husband made my sign up in time just in case, and since the five week off that we had, it was -- I really enjoyed it. I start working on my swing a little smarter I would say things have been clicking, so it's been enjoyable.
