Q. After round two 3-under 69. Pajaree, how did you play today?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I think I drove the ball really well today, and I gave myself, again, a lot of birdie opportunities.
I putted well, too, so it's been a great solid round.
Q. What have you found on the greens to be so happy with your putting?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I would say it's still tricky. It's been a very tricky one. (Smiling.)
So I just really stayed patient and just really focused on my speed and what I can do.
Q. Solid ball striking, like you said: 12 of 14 fairways; 15 of 18 greens. How pleased are you with that part of your game so far this week?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Yes, really pleased with how I drove the ball out there. Again, driver has been one of the big goal, main goal for me, just to hit lots of fairways and that would be good.
So, yeah.
Q. Became a first-time winner last year, correct?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Yes.
Q. Heading into the weekend you got a sniff at another one. What lessons will you take from that win into the rest of the week?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: I mean, just really try to focus on my game and just focus on one shot at a time and try to do the best I can; just really not trying to think ahead and not rushing into anything.
Just really one shot at time. That's really what I can do.
Q. As far as the strategy around Aviara, I know it doesn't have a ton of teeth in it from tee to green, but how have you been handling that part of this golf course this week?
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Off the tee, right?
Q. Yeah. Off the tee and in the fairway as well.
PAJAREE ANANNARUKARN: Obviously, again, just really narrow my focus down a little bit with my target. Just get the feel in how I want it to -- where I want to finish the ball, and just that's just pretty much my goal and my plan.
