Q. All right, Charley, started off strong today, those three birdies in a row to get you going. How much did that help today?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, helped a lot. I felt like I played well. Just lost a bit of momentum on the back nine, two three-putts.
But it is what it is. I played good. I hit a great shot into 18; just came up a bit short and hit a good putt.
I'm happy with my week going into next week, especially coming off an injury.
Q. I was going to say, you talked a little bit about the injury earlier this week. How much more comfortable do you feel playing golf now that's kind of subsided?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, loads. It's not in the back of my mind. Before I was dragging my foot, but now it's a lot better. I'm sprinting up these hills.
Q. This is quite a hilly course. What do you take away from these last four few days into next week?
CHARLEY HULL: Just confidence, having fun, yeah, and just go out there and have fun.
I like next week, and there is no point being out there if you're not having fun.
That's it. You only got one life.
Q. Absolutely. And one more time in Rancho Mirage? How excited are you to be able to take on that course again?
CHARLEY HULL: Played it first time ten years ago when I was like 16. I love that place. I think it was 15. Yeah, like I love it. Such a shame that it's leaving.
But, yeah, one last chance to jump in Poppy's Pond. I've had a second there before, so hopefully we can improve on that.
