Q. Here with Maude-Aimee LeBlanc; 4-under; solid way to end the week. Really solid performance. What kind of confidence does this give you heading into the rest of your season?
MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Yeah, it's huge. It's always more pressure I feel like to start the season well because you have to play well to get into more events, and the majors obviously.
Yeah, it's a huge confidence booster. Hopefully it's going to stay there. I don't know.
Q. How much does a performance like this validate some of the things you have been working on on and off the golf course?
MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: I honestly think it was all mental, most of it. I mean, my putting has made a huge difference for sure, so that's been nice to see the improvement there.
The rest, yeah, I mean, the rest is mental.
Q. Probably one of the best finishes you've ever had out here on the LPGA Tour. How does that feel to have that now going forward?
MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Uh-huh, feels great. Yeah, I feel like the more I put myself in that situation the more comfortable I will feel.
So, yeah, it's great experience. It shows me that I belong out there, so it's good feeling.
Q. And last question from me: When are we going to see you tee it up next, and what positives from this week will you carry to the next week?
MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Next week, Palm Springs, the first major. That's exciting. I love playing there. Yeah, playing well this week going into the major is, it's nice, but it's of course completely different course.
I haven't played that course in a very long time so I only remember a few holes, but, yeah, it'll be fun. I'm excited.
Q. I guess actually last question: What are your thoughts about the Chevron Championship, last year in the desert? How are you feeling heading back to Mission Hills for the last time?
MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Yeah, I thought it was pretty sad to end that tradition, but I'm glad to be part of those players that are going to be playing the last event there.
