Q: Three birdies on your front nine to start your day, what was working well for you there?
A: My putting went really well for the first three birdies. And of course my shots were good too to make those birdie opportunities.
Q: A disappointing bogey on No. 17, take us through it.
A: Same as before, I was focusing on my play at the 17th hole, but didn’t have the result I wanted. I hit the first putt pretty strong and it went farther than I thought. That led to an awkward length for the second putt and hit a bogey.
Q: What do you takeaway from this week as you head into the Chevron Championship?
A: I think I played well overall, but there were some parts that were a bit disappointing. With a major tournament next week, I want to focus on my game even more.
