Q. Pia Babnik not backing down in the major moment. Shot 6-under 66 today. Had, let's see, five birdies on the card, an eagle. Just what are your emotions after a round like that?
PIA BABNIK: Well, I'm really happy with round, with how I played. So, yeah, just really, really happy.
Q. This is just your third major. Did you have a lot of previous experience coming in coming down the stretch with a round going like that?
PIA BABNIK: No, but I just said like it's normal round. It's not like a final day of major, so just play like you can and that's it.
Q. Birdieing 18 in front of a crowd like that, what was that like?
PIA BABNIK: It was amazing. The way they were cheering it's just unbelievable. So, yeah.
Q. Tell us how you got into golf in Slovenia.
PIA BABNIK: Well, my parents were playing so they got me and my brothers to play.
Q. Who was your inspiration?
PIA BABNIK: Well, I would say just every golfer who can play really good, because you can take each good thing from each player. So, yeah, just combination of more players.
But if I have to choose one, it would be Tiger Woods.
Q. Very few people know much about golf in Slovenia. Tell us about where you play and how the game is accepted over there.
PIA BABNIK: Well, it's getting better. More and more people know about it, so that's really good. But, yeah, I hope in future more people will know about it and decide to play it, because it's really amazing.
Q. What was your first impression of this golf course and this area?
PIA BABNIK: Well, it's really nice, so I really was excited to play here. And, yeah, like I said, just try to play my game and that's it.
Q. Have you guys played in the States much?
PIA BABNIK: I only played once in New York last year.
Q. Tell us about the eagle.
PIA BABNIK: So first one I hitting to semi rough then just in front of the green and then chip in.
Q. Chipped in?
PIA BABNIK: Yeah.
Q. Got you. In terms of your length, your dad was saying that you kind of dialed it back a little bit because of the rough this week. How far do you typically hit it?
PIA BABNIK: Well, like 270, 280 yards. But, yeah, it was really important to be in fairway. Even if you are a little bit away from the pin, that's okay, just that you are in fairway and you have a huge, huge advantage.
Q. We know Ana Belac over here. Have you played with her much?
PIA BABNIK: No, because we are a lot of age difference, so I only played with her once and that's it.
Q. What's the plan in terms of do you want to play on the LPGA soon full time?
PIA BABNIK: Yeah, but I have to finish school first.
Q. Finish school. Oh, you're still in high school?
PIA BABNIK: Yeah.
Q. When do you finish?
PIA BABNIK: One and a half year.
Q. Okay. So a junior in high school?
PIA BABNIK: No, I'm third year of four.
Q. Three of four, right.
PIA BABNIK: Yeah.
Q. So then after graduation you would think about coming to Q-School?
PIA BABNIK: Yeah.
Q. Okay. What are some of your long-term goals? Playing in Q-School, out here, what would that mean to you?
PIA BABNIK: Well, yeah, it would be great to compete among the best in the world, but long-term I want to be the best.
Q. Love that answer. Just to wrap up your week here, this experience has to be incredible. You're very young, but that doesn't take away from your prowess as a golfer. Just give us an overall take away from your week at The Chevron Championship?
PIA BABNIK: Well, like I said, I was really happy with my game this week. It's been great. It's such course that you have to be patient, and that's something that I did.
Overall really happy with how it turned out.
