Q. You just beat the rain, congratulations. How was the course out there today, and how were you playing?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, very happy to be done before the rain. I think I played pretty solid today, 2-under. I think it's a great score on this golf course. I think it's playing pretty tricky. You have some tough shots off the tee, second shots.
I think the pins were -- I mean, I don't want to say easy or tough. Like pretty medium, like average. I think there can be a couple maybe low scores, but other than that if you can shoot under par every day, I think it's a great score around here.
Q. A new course here at the Chevron Championship. What are some of the challenges that you found out there and some of the parts that you like about it?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I think it's a course I have to hit pretty much every club in your bag, drivers off the tee, you have to hit both sides, left to right, right to left. The par-3s, they are great par-3s. You have to be very precise with the numbers, otherwise you have bunkers and it's quite narrow on the greens. Par-5s are long. I can reach two or three of them, so that's quite good for me, but the course is playing like a major. It's a tough test, and I think the scoring won't be too low.
Q. You being one of the longer hitters, do you feel like you have a real big advantage out here this week?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I mean, when the ball goes straight, I always feel like I have an advantage. If I can hit it good, I think it's an advantage for sure. I got on three par-5s in two on the green, so that was easier to make birdie, obviously, and yeah, you're hitting less irons into the greens, so less pressure on hitting it closer, so I think it is an advantage.
Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, just one round in, what are you trying to do the same as today, and what did you learn out there?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: I think you have to be tough mentally and just do the same every day, follow your strategy and just play your game every day on this golf course and hopefully that's good enough for Sunday.
Q. I saw a bunch of birdies on the card for you today. What were some of the highlight birdies out there for you?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: So I birdied 6 and 9 on the front. 6, I hit it to like three feet so I hit a really good shot, and 9, I made a pretty good putt from like 20 feet, and then on the back I made two really good birdies on 13 and 18 to finish. So very happy with those.
