Q. You saw her leaping through my last interview with Lydia Ko, and she also was leaping to the top of the leaderboard here today with that birdie there at the last. Despite not getting your Starbucks this morning, how would you describe the round overall today?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: It was really good. Yeah, you know, I just feel jittery sometimes on the golf course, and I love Starbucks. I love coffee. Just thought today, you know, I'm going to try not to have it all week and see how I do. I yawned more than anybody should possibly yawn on the golf course. But all in all, my putter really saved me. I made so many putts today, just to kind of keep the momentum going, and saved par when I needed to for sure.
Q. This is only your third event back since giving birth to your second daughter. How have you been able to get back to the course so quickly?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: Just try to practice when I can. Obviously two kids makes it just a little bit more difficult. You have to time manage a little bit more.
But it's so great to be back out here seeing everyone's faces and bringing the girls out and introducing them to everybody. It's just really been awesome to come back and be welcomed back. It's nice to play well.
Q. What has the overall experience been like in The Chevron Championship's move here to Houston?
BRITTANY LINCICOME: It's been spectacular. From when we got here, picked up at the airport on Sunday, the Past Champions Dinner on Monday was spectacular, getting my Bentley on Tuesday, just the golf course even, too. You walk up to the range where the practice facility -- I'd probably practice more if I had that practice facility. I'm so jealous. But the golf course is perfect. It's so beautiful -- it's a long hitter's course. It's narrow. There's a lot of water and trouble. You really kind of have to work your way around the course, don't short-side yourself. That's where you're going to be in big trouble.
But all in all, it's been a wonderful week so far, and it's only Thursday.
