Q. The day is ending earlier than you would have liked, but how do you feel like you played today?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I felt like I had a bogey-free 3-under on the front nine. I had probably a three- or four-footer for par on the hole that I didn't finish, but overall I feel like I played pretty good. The greens are a little softer than maybe days prior, so I could be a little bit more aggressive, but overall I felt pretty good out there.
Q. Were you feeling the weather starting to build up around you as play started finishing? What was the feeling out there?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I think actually on my last hole, I hit an 8-iron that I thought was going to be perfect, and it ended up coming up short because I think there was a change in the wind. I think from the storm that was kind of rolling in.
We were called off quite early. I just saw the clouds kind of darken around me.
Overall I think the weather was kind of holding up nicely. It rained maybe twice when we were on the golf course on the front nine, but overall it was good.
Q. How do you deal with having a putt out there for par and still holes to come back to tomorrow overnight?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I think you just have to try to be positive about it and just tell yourself that you can't get caught up in possibly girls being on 18 or not having that many holes left. If you think about it positively, then I have a lot of opportunities left in the day that I can go out and maybe capitalize on a couple of them, then that's good. But I'm going to think about it positively rather than negatively.
Q. How did you spend the last two hours?
NELLY KORDA: I just sat and watched the PGA TOUR.
Q. Brooke is having a lights-out round out there. Were you aware of what she was doing?
NELLY KORDA: Not really because there aren't that many leaderboards out there. I did see on 9 she was probably 11-under total through like 15 holes or whatever. But obviously it's moving day, so you're kind of expecting girls to shoot up the leaderboard with the cut being on your mind, girls just kind of being free and shooting at the pin trying to get up the leaderboard as much as possible. You always kind of expect it on the Saturday, and you just try to stay in your own little bubble.
