THE MODERATOR: I'm here with Brooke after finishing her third round, 8-under total. Talk a little bit about yesterday. You had a great stretch there in a very short period of time.
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, yesterday was a lot of fun. Made a lot of putts, which was a great feeling, and kind of gave me a lot of momentum. That front nine, making a clutch par save on 6 and then a short birdie on 7, it kept going from there, so it was really fun to climb up the leaderboard as much as I did. I'm sure I'll be a few shots back by the end of the third round, but I'm really excited for the final round and hopefully be in contention and hopefully make a few more birdies.
Q. Were you aware where you were at yesterday while you were playing?
BROOKE HENDERSON: I found it really hard to find a leaderboard out there. There weren't that many. But anytime there was one I was trying to take a look and see. I was trying to predict, as well, where I was sitting. Just trying to push forward and seeing how far I could get under par.
Q. Talk a little bit about the delay and suspension, too, staying locked in and in the moment in the third round instead of looking ahead?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, last night it was kind of difficult trying to stay in the moment, not knowing if I was going to have to play last night or come out early this morning. It always makes it a little bit difficult with those rain delays. But I think it would have been maybe nice to play the 18th hole yesterday when I was on a bit of a roll, but you never know what could have happened. At the time I was kind of grateful for a little bit of a break. It just depends.
But No. 18 played a lot more difficult, I think, this morning. Made par, and hopefully just make a couple birdies early in the round in the final round.
Q. That was one of the best rounds in Chevron Championship history, the 10th of 64 or better. What does that mean, to have your name on that list now for this championship?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, that's really cool. This championship has a lot of history, and so it's really cool to -- anytime you can be a part of that history is pretty neat. I'm excited about my round yesterday. It was a lot of fun. A lot of momentum, a lot of confidence. Hopefully I can just carry it forward.
