Q. All right, Anna, your first LPGA Tour round under your belt of all time. Were there any nerves stepping up to the first tee this morning?
ANNA DAVIS: I think like more in the morning, like leading up the round I was more nervous.
On the first tee I was fine.
Q. I know that you said that you weren't really nervous for a round like this. You're kind of treating it like any other tournament. What was it like for you as you made your way around Palos Verdes Golf Club?
ANNA DAVIS: I think it was pretty much like every other tournament I would say. There weren't like as many people, but I'm expecting for the next few days leading up to see some more people out here. See how that goes.
I don't know, I wasn't super nervous or anything.
Q. Couple birdies early. Did you realize how you were 2-under with a couple holes under your belt?
ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, I missed like a few putts leading up, but as I got to the back nine my ball striking was kind of bad so I didn't give myself very many chances.
I kind of stayed strong and finished at even.
Q. Takeaway, what will you look to improve upon tomorrow?
ANNA DAVIS: Hitting more greens probably. I didn't hit very many on the back. Just hitting it closer. My putting wasn't bad today. I think the wind kind of picked up towards the back nine, so that made it a little tougher to hit it close.
Q. As you've kind of gotten ready for this tournament here, I know you said that this is kind of a dream come true that you didn't think you would be playing an LPGA Tour event this early at 16.
ANNA DAVIS: Uh-huh.
Q. Has anyone come up to you or anyone congratulated you on anything you've achieved so far?
ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, kind of. I'll walk around and some of the girls will recognize me and they'll say congrats. That's kind of funny.
I've met a few girls and they're all very nice, yeah.
Q. I'm guessing they saw the bucket hat.
ANNA DAVIS: Yes.
Q. And that's how they...
ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, probably.
