Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Annie Park who played with Jennifer Chang today; nice USC group. How fun that was out there?

ANNIE PARK: It was a lot of fun. I've never got to play with her, so we had a lot of chats out there. It was good to play with her, fellow Trojan.

Q. Did you talk about golf course, reflect on the Northrop Grumman out here?

ANNIE PARK: Well, we were never on the same team, so I mean, we were talking about how when I played it was 36 holes and for her it was 18, 18, 18. I don't know which one is worse.

But, yeah, it was crazy.

Q. Were the USC fans extra loud out there for the two of you?

ANNIE PARK: Yeah, it's great. It was good to see fans out again. Just from during COVID, back to having spectators is always great, and always good to see fellow Trojans out supporting us.

Q. Second time in the mix heading into the final day this season. What are you drawing upon from Chevron as you walk into tomorrow?

ANNIE PARK: Yeah, I mean, I think honestly just this course in general. Just patience is the key. There is a lot of shots out there, and just I kept charging out there even after one bad hole. Kept fighting out there, so...

Q. Takes, Fight on to a whole 'nother level, huh?

ANNIE PARK: Yeah.

Q. What are you looking for from yourself tomorrow to go out and make a run? This is a golf course you need attack on.

ANNIE PARK: Yeah, I think it's a little bit of both. There is a lot of holes where you can go aggressive and other holes where it's going to play tough.

And like today, even though we had a lot of shots out there, had tees up, it was still playing really tough just because of the greens and just being really windy.

So it just plays a totally different golf course.

Q. I'm sure the last time you played here it was a little bit damp, cold, chilly. We have the wind, a little bit of the chill, but the greens have firmed up the last couple days. How differently is it playing from Thursday to now?

ANNIE PARK: Oh, yeah, I mean, there is -- a lot of the downhill putts were slick and you can't really go for anything, so I'm just trying to keep being patient out there, especially on the greens. (Wind interference.)
