Q. Here with Alena Sharp. Really nice round out there. How does it feel to finish on such a high note?
ALENA SHARP: Yeah, I mean, making a bomb on the last hole in front of the hometown crowd a pretty special. That hole was playing so long. I hit a 5-iron in; rest of week I had wedges in.
So, yeah, I was happy to make a long putt. First time I hit the green so that was good.
Q. Also made the fans happy with the 17th hole today. Tell us about that experience.
ALENA SHARP: Oh, it was amazing. I mean, last year I was off early at The Rink so I didn't have as many people around. Put a Flames jersey in my bag and hit the fringe and put it on and putted with it on and almost made the putt.
Q. We probably shouldn't tell anybody that you're really a Leafs fan, should we?
ALENA SHARP: Yeah, probably not. I got booed earlier this week wearing a Leafs jersey.
Q. Tell us about how this feels and how you can use this momentum for your next stop in Paris.
ALENA SHARP: Yeah, everything is coming together nicely. I just am really happy with how I'm driving it. I drove it a little bit better today. I feel like it's coming around where I'm like able to just not think about my technique so much and just swing and play.
Left a few putts out there, but feel like everything is coming together. Get a little break now and see -- my coach is going to be there, so clean some things up and really learn that golf course. Hopefully have a good result.
Q. Get any heads up from the men's team out there?
ALENA SHARP: I would think so, and I'm going to go watch them on Sunday, watch them finish. Hopefully one or both of them win medals.
