Quick Quotes

Q. All right, joined by Jasmine Suwannapura after her second round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Just take us through the day today and what was maybe working better for you today than yesterday.

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I would say yesterday was better than today. But, yeah, I have a little bit of mistake here and there, couple holes. Make three bogeys today. Lucky enough to have the last two birdies coming back.

Q. What does it say about your game maybe that you thought yesterday was a little better but you're way up there in contention and on pace to hopefully contend on Sunday?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I feel like the pin position was a little bit tucked today. I feel like I didn't really get much chance or much opportunity to go closer to the pin. Not many birdie chance for me today.

But overall, I'm happy with my game.

Q. How does this course bring out some of the strengths of your game?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I really like the course with the small greens, so it give me smaller target and it's kind of like forcing you to like either go for it or, you know, have an up and down for par.

Because the green is so small, some of the pin position was tucked in and it make the green even smaller. There is one thing to do, is go for the pin basically.

Q. What will you take away from a your first two rounds heading into the weekend?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I would just say that I've been working on my driver, to keep my driver in the fairway. This week been working pretty well. Having more chance to make birdie, hit it as close as I can and, you know, get a birdie look today.
